Khatron ke Khiladi?

Morning i got up with shubdha’s sms at 6:30 asking me to go to the gym. I said yeah and slept back. The day was dull but I had my targets in the office to be attained… and i did that. Vishal called, “ Bhai they are harassing me! how can I get life insurance for this bank when everyone in the whole world has suddenly become poor!?”. “Right”, I said. Vishal - “Bhai please save me”.
Me - “How?”
Vishal - “Become my customer!”
Me - “See you at the gym. Bye.”

Nikunj called in the evening and asked to come to the residency kothi.
“I went to this astrologer. he said the whores don’t match but they aren't bad either.”
”Whores!!!?? Where Where?”, Me, Nikunj and Rahul said in chorus.
”Horo (scopes )!!!!”, Nikunj was frustrated but continued, “ I told mom i want to marry Sneha. She smiled and said its a bad idea. she smiled wider and said ‘Badnami tou hogi bohat society mein’ ( we will get a bad name in the society ).”

Only Nikunj’s folks can do that… smile for everything that doesn't need to be smiled at. Nikunj continued while Rahul and Vishal were busy dancing without a song. I could see Sachin talking on the phone at a distance not daring to come close to us considering how his girlfriend did not talk to him when the last time we snatched his phone and talked to her. Anyway, that's a different story. “Guys Listen to me!!!”, Nikunj almost yelled and got our instant attention.

“When uncle came home I told him i need to talk to him about my marriage.” Just then Rahul started imitating his uncle. “ Karan I will only talk to you now on!” and Nikunj carried on… “ uncle said ok and turned the tv on “.
Nikunj - “I need to talk about my marriage…lets talk”
Uncle – “ but ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ ( fear factor ) is on TV… later.

we were on the floor … rolling.. laughing… until Nikunj said “ you guys find it funny?” .. we stopped for a while.. trying to be serious… but burst out with laughter again. It took us some time to be quite… and he started again, “ then there was a break and he said ok tell me in two minutes” and before anything he said firmly, “ DONT LAUGH THIS TIME!”. we didn’t. “But the break was over soon so chacha said we will talk later”. Now you can laugh he said sadly… but we didn’t.. cos he wanted us to laugh.

“When the show got over uncle gave me many reasons why i shouldn’t go for a love marriage… he also said that if i go for love marriage the younger kids at home will also follow my example. I was quite convinced… but just then i thought what if i dont marry Sneha… and five years down the line all the kids go for love marriage… meri tou lag jayegi na!" … we kept listening to what Nikunj was saying… “ so i said no no… i want to marry sneha… and by then chachi (aunt) also came and convinced chacha that i wont get a better girl if at all any girl agrees to marry me”… and he was quite after that.

I asked him what after that.
Nikunj – “ we will go to meet her parents “
Me – “ We? as in?”
Nikunj – “ the four of us… you, me, Rahul and Vishal
”You mean selfish brainless creature!! why do you want our parents to kick us out of our home. we are NOT coming with you!”
Nikunj - “But i told chacha you will come with me. sorry… but you will come na!”

we don’t have any option now… so sometime in August we will be headed for Mangalore.

I had to meet Shubdha around 8 but it rained too heavy and she had to go home. I messaged her but she is asleep. Shalini had a long day shooting for her TV show and she is asleep too. I miss her.
